Carbon Capture (CO₂)
In the agricultural production methods advocated by Epigen Healthy Bite, a very important effect is the capture of carbon in the soil, doubling the number of tons per hectare compared to conventional agriculture.
Carbon is a macronutrient for plants, which can be absorbed primarily as CO₂ through the aerial parts of the plant. Root absorption allows it to be incorporated into the plant as bicarbonate (HCO₃).
